I just got back from the casting call for a new movie. The casting for it was in fact last Thursday but I was headed to Laos for a week vacation (since cancelled).
I asked my acting agent to chase it up and get me to the casting call no matter what, surprisingly she managed to get me in on a Sunday...

Several months ago I went on a short holiday for a week to visit some of the other sites in the region, predominantly I wanted to visit Phnom Penh, Cambodia and have a look at the place in terms of a future base (home).
People who travel to one other country then espouse how great it is and how they want to live there the rest of their life, in my opinion, are making a mistake. What are they basing their judgement on? Experience with 2 countries out of hundreds? Get out and have a good look around before you make your decision on where in the world you want to live. Also note that a 2 day package tour does not show you what a country is like at all - it shows you 5 star hotels and a group of tourists taking photos.
So off I went - overland - to get a good look at Cambodia, Phnom Penh and the people....

Where in the world would you like to live? For me I need a warm climate to be happy, more so now than before.
It's 28 degrees celcius here (83 fahr.) and I am freezing cold.
I am staying at a friends place for a few days and he has the aircon set at 28, I had to sneak it to 30 before I catch cold and die of it.
Funny, first time I came to Bangkok I could barely breathe due to the heat and humidity...

As a child I was very uncoordinated, whenever I played sports I could not hit the ball, catch the ball, or just about anything sports related. The only thing I could do was swim ok, and run long distance.
When we had sports at school I was always one of the last to be chosen in a team, nobody wanted an uncoordinated nerd on their team.
I did not like being uncoordinated, and here is how I went about changing that to become known widely as being very agile for my size....

Recently on a Bodybuilding forum I read a post by a fellow who was moving on to campus, he was whining because all they supplied him with was a microwave oven, wooh is me, cry cry cry. I cannot possibly become fit and muscular. I cannot succeed my life is so hard...

I stayed last night at my friends place, he had hot running water. I had my first HOT shower in 6 months, I have never had hot water in Thailand in the 14 months I have been here.

Ha ha - what a day!
I cannot tell about this one yet. Here is what I can tell - I recieved an email from the UK, and I will be following up tomorrow with a call. It involves work, that might possibly be in the place where I really want to go (paid trip of course) - the USA.
That is all I can say for now but my God! I am off to get smashed drunk to celebrate! Soi Cowboy here we come :)
*UPDATE: 17 may 2007 - The project is going ahead but is on the backburner to the organiser suddenly having an unexpectedly favourable launch to another business venture.

Bangkok Adrenaline, our movie idea is going to be made into a feature length movie! I just got back from a meeting with a major movie investor. On the spot they said yes, how much do you need? Our movie - Bangkok Adrenaline - is going ahead on schedule.
Bangkok Adrenaline will be Thailands first foreign actor dominated English speaking movie and is we now have a working draft of the script, the money the key players lined up. Everything is now going ahead - and I wrote the Bangkok Adrenaline script and am a co-starring character. I am so happy at the moment...

I received an email today from Brad M. from Australia, he has taken a new turn in life as before he was always depressed and thinking his life was bad.
I thought my life was bad too for a long time as a younger fellow. I could not see anyway outof my life at that point which held little hope for living the life that I wanted. But I always went to the gym, deep down I knew this was one way for me to take a small step forward everyday, even though I did not know where it would lead.
Read on, and read the incredible story of a man who cannot walk, talk or move 90% of his body yet he is one of the greatest men of all time. He is a living example of inspiration for the rest of us. Makes me feel like a fool for complaining when I was younger...
