What A Real Australian Eats

A funny, tongue in cheek, but rather truthful TV advertisement for Australia's favourite dish.

Funny in that it is true on many levels, from the colourful and insulting Australian terms and slang, to the way many Aussies think about those he talks about. This advert was seen as a success and gained much additional publicity throughout Australias Newspapers, TV shows and talk back radio.

All in all though it really is so Australian it is humerous... 

What Was That I Ate At The Chinese Restaurant

A funny flash video composed by Ben Apgar from his old website 512 productions way back in 1999! At the time Bens site was all done in flash and it was an amazing display of the emerging web technologies that so many of us take as common place these days.

This video was removed from the 512 website due to complaints that it was racist - which is very strange as living in Asia you have to sometimes question exactly what it is you are eating, with many travellers to border regions and hill tribes coming in for surprises they didn't quiet expect.

That said, this is a bit of a take on that, and I think it is funny and it's my site so here it is again...

I don't know, he has the moves and the persoanlity, even the hair but the talent is somewhere still behind in the developmental stages I believe - as is his 'guitar' 

This beggar works my local area - this must be his most successful gimmick as I have now seen him doing this act in several areas

Cat lover video. 

I love this video of 2 cats fighting from Japanese TV, so much in fact I have had it saved on my hard drive now for about 7 years - which explains the quality of the video.

This is a classic case of the Australian saying "Be careful what you ask for - you might just get it"
