Chatuchak Markets - Large weekend shopping area that has 8000 to 9000 stalls selling anything you could possibly imagine, thai silks, singing birds, army surplus, clothes from traditional to modern, electronics, anything that can be carried is for sale.

Add that to the other 127 known good shopping areas and you have shoppers paradise at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately for me shopping is a complete waste of time as I travel a lot and everytime I go I have to dump the non-essentials (which invariably become essentials 3 weeks later when I realise I still need them).
