Tyn Cathedral, Prague
For those of you not from Europe the units pictured in the foreground here are typical in the major cities, and often the furniture inside is antique or near antique.
I am from Australia, so everything is new and antiques are very expensive, I certainly would never be allowed to sit on an antique sofa in Australia.
So it comes across a little bit funny when the church in the background here was built 1356 - Australia was only colonised in 1788.
The apartments in the foreground were probably built before the English even bumped into Australia.
That gives a reference point you cannot miss. There is so much history in all of Europe, it is just mind blowing.
And if you are reading this and you are European this is all commonplace and boring, well then I can assure you that Kangaroos are not that exciting as an Australian - and they do not even taste good.
