Yesterday I was contacted by Producer Maurice Vaughan about a show of interest in his upcoming movie: Extinction.
A brief discussion was had and I am now reading through the futuristic sci-fi action movie script...
Seems like Maurice found me via this very website. That makes me happy that all the work I put in has first landed me the part in Drona, and still draws in potential work.
It looks like this is Maurice's first major production, also his crew list looks rather inexperienced in the roles they are carrying - much like we were when we started Bangkok Adrenaline. Hopefully Maurice does not encounter the same negativity that we did, or if he does I am sure he'll be able to over come it and show up all the naysayers at the film premiere.
So far I am 25% the way through the script (1 day reading when free) and look to finish reading it tomorrow, in the meantime Maurice has sent me a letter of interest that will allow him to use my name and image in promoting the film until full contracts are signed.
At this point I do not know if I am interested in the character to play but I think so, also I like the fact that Maurice is taking a big chance on getting this thing going and I would like to support him just for that fact.
Here is a brief run down on the character:
APOCALYPSE has super strength and a very bad
temper. He’s always mad at something. He’s the tallest, biggest, and
strongest character.
I don't think that gives away too much.
