Yep, on the 19th we shot a new music video with Ian Erix. A friend I met at the Thaitanium music video called up and asked if I would like to be in another music video, though the pay was not too much it could be a fun day.
Since I have heard that line before I asked for more details. They were hiring out a Go Go bar in Soi Cowboy, with a bunch of pretty dancers and I was to just play a standard bouncer role (security guard), but they would only need me for an hour or two...
Hmmm.....
Let me think about this for a minute, I have to get off my butt, walk a whole 5 minutes from my apartment to Soi Cowboy and hang out with a bunch of scantily clad dancers in a gogo bar with an up and coming music star - Ian Erix to be in his music video.
And I get paid for it, make more connections, more friends and hang out with some people I already know.
YES!
So we shot the Ian Erix music video, which I will put up on the site as soon as it is edited, and had a good day. My girlfriend even dropped in a for 15 minutes to bring me food. Though I am certain it was to make sure that I was behaving myself in Soi Cowboy, Bangkok's famous ex-pat entertainment district.
I will grab some photos to add to the site in the next week or two and I will also find out the name of the song that Ian Erix was singing in this music video.
Ian Erix On Stage At The Go-Go Bar
Since this is mainly about working with Ian Erix I suppose I should point out that I did have a chat with him and he was a very down to earth, nice guy, he even seemed a little bit on the quiet side - which was a bit unusual considering the grungy type of music he sings. A very nice fellow, and easy to work with for everyone involved.
Learn more about this rising star at the Ian Erix website.
