Being a 7 footer having big feet is no surprise, it definitely has its advantages - and its disadvantages. Trying to find big shoes is one of the problems.
So how big is a big foot and/or big feet...
My shoe size varies considerably depending upon where the shoes are from and the brand.
Currently most shoes I have are;
- UK size 14 or 15
- EU size 49 or 51
- US size 17
But these can vary wildly. I have had big shoes - US sized 17 - that would not go on in a pink fit, they were an incredibly narrow shoe. I have some hiking boots that are EU size 49 shoes, yet I got another pair for a TV commercial shoot where I was acting as a truck driver and the things were supposedly the same sized shoes and yet they crushed my feet the whole time I was wearing them. Which is why I was carrying them in the photo.
For those with an interest my big feet are 12 inches long and 4 inches wide at the widest point - for my height I am lucky that I have smallish feet, otherwise shoes would be a huge problem.

Back in Australia there was a time for several years when the only 2 pairs of shoes I owned was a pair of old G.P. Army Boots - being high quality and strong leather these could stretch to fit perfectly, and the only other pair of shoes I owned were Doctor Martens Boots.
I even wrestled in my Doc Martens
Years later I am much better off, in Asia though I have to admit shoe shopping is a little on the sparse side, so on a recent trip to the UK I made sure I stocked up with big shoes.
Now having big feet has always been a difficulty getting shoes, that would have to be the main disadvantage to having a big foot as large as mine.
Though there is also a major advantage in having big feet....
Whooor! Naked Big Feet!
... it's that old rumour ...
... many girls assume if you have big feet you also have a big ..... (but I'm not telling)
Though I have a friend, Jase, who often wears big shoes that are about 2 sizes oversize, he claims it is because he has broad feet. Pete claims it is to try and bluff the girls that he has a big one.
