Natural Cure For A Sore Throat

Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat. I went to bed with the fan on full power straight on  my body, which is usually what is required to stop me waking up in a pool of sweat in the  terrific tropical heat we have been having recently (all the time). Unfortunately that night we had a 'cold' snap, yes it is only about 30 Deg Celcius (86F).

Oh, no every time I ever used to get sick it would start with a sore throat, if I can cure  the sore throat then the illness does not tend to spread.

Quick, to the natural cure for a sore throat that I once learned....

... I picked this up somewhere that I cannot remember, and it has always worked when I tried  it and cured my sore throat within 2 days without the illness spreading.

What is the cure for a sore throat?

Simply get a small glass of warm water and stir in as much table salt as you can, keep  adding salt until no more dissolves. Then gargle the salt water, try not to taste it, hold your head back and gargle (make an  long "Errrrrrrrrrrr" sound in the back of your throat) this rinses the salt water around in  the back of your sore throat, dislodging all the nasties and killing the bad guys.

Careful though not to gag, the extremely salty water is not nice. Do this 2 or 3 times in  the morning for 30 seconds at a time, again at lunch time and again at night before bed.

Often you will find you want to cough out some nasties after you spit out the water, cough  it out, do not swallow it, you want the bad guys out of your sore throat and out of your body.

That's it, works everytime for me. I still have a sore throat today but it is a lot better,  by tonight it should be cured.

And if you have a sore throat and no salt available, you can substitute anti-septic based  mouthwash (maybe Vodka would subsitute too?), but salt has always works best to cure a sore throat for me.
