I get a lot of comments comparing me and Noah Steere, the 6'6" bodybuilder, some people email me directly but mostly I see it on the bodybuilding forums.
Noah Steere is HUGE, he is reportedly 6'6" and 350lbs.
Though I do not understand why people compare Noah Steere and I - it is comparing apples and oranges - sure we are both tall, sure we are both bodybuilders, but that is no reason to compare us...
Noah Steere is (was) a competing bodybuilder, he devoted 100% of his time to the gym and competitions. I do not know what has happened to Noah Steere for him to stop competing but it happens with many up and coming bodybuilders they reach the top levels then never compete again. I am guessing it is to do with "politics" of the sport and the rumoured corruption amongst the bodybuilding judges who rule in support of their (or the Weiders) favourites.
Tall Bodybuilder Noah Steer
As a competitive bodybuilder Noah Steere would have devoted his entire energies into coming in at peak form at each of his shows and between shows would have been doing everything possible to pack on more pounds. Dedication to his sport as shown by his physique.
Difference Between Noah Steere and Conan Stevens
Whereas Noah Steere is a dedicated Bodybuilder, I am a dedicated actor, well action actor working towards my 1st lead role.
As an actor, I devote my time to promoting myself (this website is an example), selling myself, writing scripts, negotiating, setting up movies, going to the gym, eating reasonably healthy, socialising and meeting people, making contacts, and partying somewhat. And spending time imagining different scenarios, way to act out a scene, how I will play this character, etc.
Unlike Noah Steere who is 100% invested in getting big, I am not that way inclined. I enjoy my bodybuilding and I am gaining muscle and that is a goal but I do not let bodybuilding interfere with my life - other things are more important to me - like my career.
Noah Steere Is Big
In my opinion Noah Steere is THE biggest bodybuilder in the world bar none - this I fully support. He is a massive monument to bodybuilding dedication.
Conan Stevens Is Big Too
But I am not a professional bodybuilder and I never want to be. My aim is to be the biggest action hero ever. Not actor, but Action Hero with a series of Lead Roles - this is where I am heading.
So to compare Noah Steere and myself in terms of physique is a little unfair. I am being asked to compete on his home turf against his strengths.
Some people are rather rude and claim that I am in fact nothing special and should not call myself a bodybuilder. To those people I would like to say Wake The F@#% Up. 7 foot tall and 320 lbs is not a small man. Regardless of whether there are a couple of others out there who are bigger.
I would prefer if people were going to compare physiques then they would compare me with other actors as I am an actor first and foremost - if you want to compare physiques I would rather that I was compared with Tom Cruise (see that would be competing on my home turf to my strengths) - another actor and not a full time bodybuilder like Noah Steere.
