As you can tell I have not posted much for the last month, and a little bit before. This was due to a number of factors - the main one being a whirlwind romance that "seemed too perfect to be true" - my own words on about the third day....
I'm not going to go too much into my private life, nor dwell on the details. When something like this happens the best you can do is move on as quickly as you can. I am putting this up mainly for the regular readers of my site wondering what the heck i have been doing that was keeping me away from the internet (no internet at my home for 2 months also had something to do with this), and to show that my life does have it's up and downs just like normal, regular people. Basically it was with a girl I have known for over a year, whom I pretty much avoided due to the fact that I had a girlfriend during most of that time, that broke up about 3 months ago and I waited until I was feeling emotionally strong enough, and had stopped thinking about the ex too much. So I contacted her, it turned out she was ideally in a position to see me and we spent some time together which was rather nice. A few weeks break as I don't like to rush into things and we met and spent a few days together again. Wow! Is all I can describe it as, just like being 17 again with the first girlfriend. It seemed magic. It seemed almost perfect, she had a lot of qualities that I like - self improvement foremost in that list, oh yes, and she doesn't lie also rates right up there. Then it fell apart. I would explain it as cultural differences easiest, she being from rural Thailand and me not. So I have been left a dazed and confused, and a little hurt, again, and not posting much on this site. There has been another reason for the delay in writing but I'll leave that for another post, as it will take a full article to explain it in detail as it is rather exciting ;) (read as much into the smiley as you like - yes you know who you are) *UPDATE:- Being a stubborn bugger I have continued trying to get this to work for another month when she decided that she was no longer going to try, which I found heart rending as she would be near perfect for me if we stuck at it. ** Yes there will be future updates on this..... maybe I should learn to walk away sometimes....
