We have now finished the 2nd draft of the action/comedy movie script that I am writing.
Over the next 3 days we will be going over it and adding the camera angles and cuts to it....
This will result in a 3rd and working movie script. From here further planning can start, a timeline for locations can be built and castings and auditions for additional actors can be made.
We still need to finalise the actors dialogue in the final 2 scenes, currently it is in point form and not very dramatic.
There are some parts of the movie dialogue we skipped over previously that has comments like {add funny line here}, {this is crap but it gives the idea, refine it}, {change this according to sponsor deal}.
These need to be attended too in much greater detail, but the movie script is readable and easy to follow.
I am very proud to have been invited to be the movie script writer, it also gave me a chance to add in a few acting scenes, a few lines, and a few jokes - also to point out differing camera work that might suit the characters a little better.
To be honest I found writing a movie script to be much easier than I thought, though it does help a lot to have someone else think of the story first and that he has a similar sense of humour so that there were not many disagreements as to what should go in the script and what should not.
Writing myself a good acting role, added to the artistic license that a good actor has and this should be a nice acting role for myself to act in.
I will post up a few pages as soon as I get the OK to do so (I think it will be after the script is registered)
