Training With A Shoulder Injury

For the last  six weeks or so I have been training with a shoulder injury.

The injury started as a slight nagging pain after training chest or shoulders, so I backed off on the weight and concentrated on getting my form perfect with slow reps and a light weight. Then we caught the armed bandit at our apartment  and I really put it out.

So since then what have I been doing to train around my shoulder injury? 

I'm Allowed To Have A Dream Aren't I?

This exact phrase was uttered by a Thai friend from a very underprivileged background who works in the now non-existant tourism sector and it was a sentence that struck me significantly.

We were talking about her past and why she was where she is today and she told me of her hopes for her future, then told of the 'friends' and associates that put down her dreams and told her she could not have them. She has nothing good in her life except that it may one day get better. What a pack of A-holes...

Alright after much delay and much sidestepping the issue I grabbed my phone out of my pocket after training today and asked a fellow that I have never seen before to take a few photos outside the gym.

Yep, I have a beard - why? I ran out of razors one day then forgot to buy them next 2 times I went to the supermarket and decided to grow it to get some new photos as I believe it gives my face and demeanor a totaly different aspect...

Big Bang Movie?

Is Conan's movie career about to emulate the Big Bang? i.e. before there was nothing and after the Big Bang there was a whole universe (of opportunity).

Well not really nothing before hand, but for American audiences Conan is still an unknown. Which unfortunately translates to Australian audiences (and more pointedly industry professionals) equating Conan with a Zero, Indian and Asian films don't count apparently in Australia, such small minds... but that is a different article altogether, so lets get back on track...

Will Conan's career go supernova very soon shooting him in a bright light upon the American movie scene?

I have been contacted to work in a role that I believe I am suitable for, in a US movie, filming in the US, through my Australian Agent with a very well known film star. Now I have to complete the audition successfully as the next step and with any luck (luck = prior work and commitment) I'll soon be known to many millions more, and most importantly start working in movies that pay well.

That's all I can write for now. I will let you know any further developments when I am allowed to write about it.
