My old (1 year and 3 weeks old) Compaq laptop died last week, leaving me without effective internet access. Sure enough my Nokia N95 has the ability but the keyboard and screen size makes it tiresome, not to mention having to manually go through all the incoming spam rather than letting Thunderbird handle it all for me.
I have purchased a new Toshiba laptop with a 3 year warranty so hopefully this one will be designed to last a bit longer.

I had a damaged MySQL table that failed to load the full sized photo when a photo thumbnail links was clicked.
With the simple and handy tool 'phpMyAdmin' I just went in to the database, cheked all the tables found the index for the galleries damaged and then ran the repair option on it, then for good measure I ran optimise table on all the tables.
So now the site should be working fine again.

I just wrote a massive article on the movie preview and the f'n website timed out and did not save the article, I am not writing it all again, suffice to say I met some interesting people who could be some very interesting future contacts and I was happy with my 10 seconds on screen - also the movie will not be released internationally as it is far too Thai (cultural references).
