Side Street With High Wall
Daniel takes the next side
street and sees a high fence across the street, effectively making it
a dead end. This time the fence is not too high he runs straight at
it, jumps off a side wall places a hand on top of the fence and
vaults himself over. As he goes over he looks back to the Policemen
with a big smile and a wave goodbye.
The look on his face turns
to horror as he see that there is a long drop to the ground on this
side of the fence.

Dumpster
Daniel falls bang! Into a
dumpster full of rubbish, dust and rubbish fly up as he lands in it.
The impact tilts the dumpster over, it falls on its side. Daniel and
the dumpster contents spill out on the ground together. Daniel rolls
out amidst the garbage, laying motionless.
Slowly he stirs, groans in
pain, gets up, dusts himself off, now he is filth, covered in garbage
and is starting to look like a homeless person.
Daniel runs off, the
Policemen go around the block and continue the chase

Building Site
Acrobatic stunts continue on the building site with a few mistakes
and near catches by the police, finally Dan looses the police.
The Policemen are not upset or angry, they are good humoured.
Policeman #1
(In
Thai) (Gasping) He must be half monkey, for sure the monkey god is
protecting him. We should let him go or we could get bad luck

Thai) (Breathing heavily) I don't want bad luck

Officer, besides that kid punished himself way more than we would

Daniel safe at last, saunters up victory clearly showing on his
face. Happily he pulls the wallet out, big smile spreads on his face.
He opens the wallet, the look turns to disbelief, then horror as
he searches through the wallet.
Closeup: Wallet with
nothing in it, no money, no cards. An empty wallet.
Disappointed look on
Daniels face as he realises he risked his life for nothing.

Ext.
Street
Mike has a large professional camera and is taking photos of Pooh
walking on the other side of the street.
As Mike finishes and turns away we see Daniel run into Pooh.

Tae Kwon Do School
Big blue rubber mat covers floor, punching bags, speed ball, some
weights, banners on walls. One desk and chair near the door for
administrative purposes. A large window is set in the wall near the
door. On the other side is a waiting room, the room is full of
parents waiting for and watching their children do their class.
30-40 kids ages 6 to12, doing kata skills with Master Mike in
front of class, pacing back and forth thumbs tucked into his black
belt, eyeing the students to make sure they are doing the exercise
correctly.

The class stops, comes to
attention then they take a seat on the ground. Sitting with their
legs crossed and backs straight they face him.

To finish our class today
I want to talk about surprising your opponent. Because you are
still children you need to
use every advantage you can to defeat a larger attacker. If a
bad man like a stranger, a
drunk, or a kidnapper tries to take you away you could use
this technique to attack
him, surprising him, and then run away to safety.
In this situation you
would strike a pressure point when the bad man when he was not
expecting it, this is the
essence of a surprise attack. You must hit him where it hurts
when he is not expecting
it and is not defending himself. By doing this you should be
able to hurt him enough
that you can run away.
When you run away scream
for help and make as much noise as possible, you want to
alert other adults to the
danger. This should scare off the bad man as he will be hurt and
scared of being caught.

One boy raises his hand,
Mike points at him. The boy gets up and comes to the front of the
class.

You be a bad man and try
to take me away
Mike bends over to come
down to the boys height, the boy grabs Dons sleeve and starts pulling
him towards the door.
Mike
No, I don't want to go
with you I don't know you
Boy
(Aggressive) Shut up or
I'll slap you around the room boy!
Mike
(Surprised) OK, sorry
mister, I'll come with you
Mike then shows the class
how he could do a palm strike to the attackers nose.
Mike
You could do an open hand
strike to the attackers nose. Hit him with the heel of the palm
in the nose with an upward
blow. This will bring tears to the attackers eyes, making it
hard for him to see for
about 20 seconds. This will buy you the time to get away.
You could also open hand
strike to the ear, with a slightly cupped hand. This causes
a change in pressure in
the inner ear causing the attacker to loose his equilibrium.
This makes the attacker
loose his balance and if you hit well he will fall over. This
again will give you time
to run away
The third place a child
can hit and get away is to the attackers eyes. Make crows beak
with three fingers
together, your thumb and little finger out of the way. Everyone make
the crows beak... good.
Now with this posture strike your attacker directly to an eye.
This will cause him to see
stars and loose eyesite for a little while.
The last place we are
going to talk about today is the groin. This area is especially
vulnerable for men. This
area is especially good for children because when an adult is
standing it can be hard
for you to reach his face, this area is at a good height for you
to attack. Strike with an
upward blow, now remember that the strike is not aimed at
the groin but through the
groin, you should aim to hit his bellybutton. This will make
sure you have enough power
to hurt him.

hit somebody when they are not looking or not expecting it

And kicks him full force
between the legs.
Mike bends double in pain,
his face coming down to the girls height. The two boys practising in
the background stop and watch.
Dons pain turns to rage. He
grabs her by the front lapels on her uniform and shakes her

You little Fffff.... reak
The girl is shocked
initially and then starts to cry.
The boys in the background
stare wide eyed and open mouthed. Mike looks over and sees their
faces. He realises he has made a mistake.
Mike
Sorry sweetheart, I didn't
mean it. Are you OK.
Don't cry, don't cry,
you're OK
I'm sorry.
The girls slowly starts calming down, her crying slows to a
whimper... then whack she kicks him again.
Girl
Hahaha, got you again!
Her tears have dried up
miraculously, Mike falls to the ground in pain. The girl runs out the
door past the two boys who were practising. They follow her flight
still with eyes wide and mouths open.
Mike is laying on the floor
mumbling something which sound like swear words then he clearly says

I hate kids.

Int.
Conan's Room
Conan is sleeping. His phone rings, he sits up, clutching a teddy
bear, and answers the phone.
John
HEY,
are you still sleeping, get your lazy ass up – you have a fight
tonight. I'll pick you up after the fight. (Hangs up)

(Sleepy) OK

Bathroom
Conan is preparing for his fight – classical music playing he
showers, polishes his head, trims his beard, does his finger nails,
brushes and flosses his teeth.

Street
Conan waves (Thai style) over a passing motorcycle taxi. The Taxi
driver is a tiny Thai guy, they ride off.

Under Highway
Cars zipping past on a busy highway, camera pans down to below the
highway where a wrestling match is underway.
The area is dirty, many people around the match yelling, screaming
and betting going on ringside. Complete range of people. Some Hi-So
Thais with white girls, Sihks, white foreigners in suits with Thai
girls, and a complete mix of working class people too.
Jeffrey and Bodyguard Somchai and another bodyguard are in the
crowd with a couple of pretty girls, the area immediately around them
is clear, the bodyguards watch the crowd. Jeffrey is betting.
They are excited and waving betting papers and arms in the air.
Conan is hopping about prepared to fight

and Gentlemen, tonight our Main Event, the champion Conan (waves over
to Conan) and the Blood Brothers
Conan is wrestling against two other falang (one white and one
black guy). Cars surround the fighting area, headlights light the
ring.
30 second fight.
Conan takes a hit to the head

Take
the big guy out, KILL HIM (Screaming, anger)
During the fight Conan runs to a car, jumps on the bonnet turns
and leaps back to the fighting area doing a body splash onto one of
his prostrate opponents. As he jumps on the car a Japanese better
screams
Japanese Better
NO! Not my car!
Conan wins, the opponents are left unconscious on the ground.
Four Sihks are very happy cheering and clapping.
Jeffrey is very unhappy he throws his handful of betting slips to
the ground, grabs a girl by the arm and storms off shouldering his
way through the crowd. The bodyguards trying to keep up and pushing
punters aside.

up to his face clearly very happy.

Conan walks off happy.

He reaches over and pulls

Conan is clearly
disappointed.

They get in the car and leave.

Khao San Road
Khao San Road, backpackers central. Travellers from all nations
throng the streets, some with backpacks on. All obvious travellers.
People are bargaining for T-shirts, eating food outdoors, some
drunk people stagger around and sing, etc. the general happenings on
Khao San Road.
We see John walking the street, eating an apple, he is saying
hello to a lot of people
