Last week I was cast to do a stunt show, initially I was hesitant because the pay is below my current threshold that I will accept but then I was told that I would be working with Jon Foo whos work and talent I admire.
Jon is one of the few foreigner actors making it good in Thailand, he is very pleasant and incredibly talented, even though I have seen Jon out at clubs and models nights before I have never worked with him, so I accepted the job...
So off I go to to the stunt show rehearsal at 10am, everyone else turns up at 11am, my agent got hte start time wrong... oh well.
So we go through the show and it is a MMA fight between myself "The Devil" and Jon Foo, the wimpy kid. Jon gets beaten up badly then I leave the ring, next thing Spiderman flys down from the roof on a sling, the kids in the crowd go crazy, Wonderwoman rocks up, Cat Woman cartwheels onto the stage - all these superheroes turn up, about 15 in total.
The Levis Jeans Devil
I am not sure of the next bit as I was backstage and during rehearsal I ran off to get some food but they all dance around Jon and he changes into a superman type costume but wearing hte new Levis Square Cut Jeans.
Then I come out with my sexy 'girlfriend', I tell her to hit him as he is such a wimp, he then throws her to the ground (Jon is such a gentleman he refused to hit her as the original script said) and I get in his face and abuse him. He then punches me with his new superpowers, I strike back, he blocks punches me again and does 3 spinning back kicks to my head (1 actually hit me in the lips) and then ran up my leg strategically placed for him to get leverage, then with a knee on my shoulder pushed himself up real high and dropped an elbow into my head, Tony Jaa style, the crowd loved it, and down I went.
I'll chase up some more pics and hte video if possible there were large screen TV's in an array behind us and I caught glimpes as we did the show - it looked awesome.
