So who does pay the Hitman?
Well it probably depends upon which movie it is. I seem to be getting a few Hitman role offers recently, makes a nice change from the previous Bodyguard roles though - they tend to be smaller parts (usually).
In the current Warner Brothers Indian movie Chandni Chowk To China I guess it would be my boss Hojo who pays me, but what if there was a new movie titled Who Pay's The Hitman....
There is.... and it's from Australia... in fact it is from the very same mates who make me jump off tall cliffs, no more fear of heights.
No fear of anything it seems. Rodd Millner my mad parachuting/abseiling/anything dangerous is fun mate from Bondi beachhas surprised me again.
The other day he sent me an email asking if I'd like to be in his movie production. What? You? How did you manage that?
"Oh didn't I tell you - I went to film school for a couple of years"
So they have funding and a popular and famous Australian TV star has agreed to play the lead.
So today I recieved my copy of the script, in which I have a possibility to play a East European Hitman. Hmmmm.... interesting.
Who Pay's The Hitman Script
Having travelled through Eastern Europe before and having a couple of run ins with Russian Mafia guys, which turned out OK in both Slovakia and again in Latvia I have some experience with the required accent. Also having dated the Slovakian Aerobics Champion for several years helps. Ahhh, yeah and probably the Russian girlfriend I had for about 4 months might help too.
So anyway the accent should not be a problem.
Reading the Script - No I'm Not On The Bog
So now I sit and rea the script an see if the part is suitable for my career ambitions and to check if the timing is good for my schedule (as if I can plan that far ahead while I live in Asia).
And just to prove that Rodd is a man of many talents here is his now famous dog - introducing Teddy, Bondi Beach's surfing canine.
Bloody Hell - 9 cinema movies and I still can't get any Australia press and his dog gets print and internet attention - told you Rodd was impressive.
