My mate Tom called me two nights ago "Hey Conan, we're watching you on TV!", yes it is true I was on MTV Asia for a short 10 second interview at the Chivas Regal Party Bangkok from Friday night....
Unfortunately there were many well known Thai celebrities including from the daily soap operas, and I was not the star attraction.
Though I did bump into MTV Asia again last night at Qbar Bangkok for the Chivas
'regular' party with touring Hip Hop artist MC Supernatural from NYC
alas no interview this time, but I did get a hello and a big smile.
(Having been to a few Chivas VIP parties now, and going out to the 'right' places I see the reporter around quiet a bit)
For instance at the last Chivas party we met again but I was completely upstaged by the arrival of a General and a bunch of high ranking Army officers - this could only mean one thing - Royalty! In this case the Kings daughter, the Princess of Thailand.
No matter, one day I will be the star attraction (unless Royalty show up again that is something I just can't compete with in a constitutional monarchy)
