Yesterday I went in for an actor casting for a TV Commercial that features the Sogen Anime DVD.

In this I was to act as a Roman Assassin, stealing in to kill the Queen while she slept....
I filmed the entire casting and cut it down to the final take, the video was shot from my Nokia N70 mobile phone placed on a desk, so apologies for the lack of interactivity with it.
I was first dressed in a Roman costume that effectively hid my body, so at every opportunity I took steps to show my arms in their best light, flexed as much as possible.
Big Arm & Silly Dress
In this actor audition I attack another guard who loses his sword in the fight, in a panic he picks up a pillow to defend himself. Apparently one of the special powers of Sogen characters is to make blunt objects sharp (or some such). For the acting audition there was a bamboo sword placed in the pillow to give it rigidity.
Silly yes, but I did not write the script. It is also a little hard doing a decent fight scene with someone who is not a trained stuntman or stunt actor.
