Conan Stevens is coming to America. The Worlds Biggest Action Hero
will arrive on the International scene after 20 years of preparation....
When, How, Why?
I'll tell in a minute, but I need your help.....
I am on a quest. I want to be the next Hollywood Action Hero, since Stallone and Arnold there has been Dolf Lundgren and Vin Deisel, then for the last couple of years.... ?
Nobody.
This is where I need your help. For the last 20 years I have done everything I could to get myself to this point, I have forsaken a career in a nice air-con office, I have forsaken the 9 to 5 whistle and the accompanying security pay pack.
Last year I came to Asia to escape being trapped on the other side of the planet Australia (you know there is a reason the English sent their convicts so far away).
I have "succeeded" several times in Australia, but no one outside Australia knows about me, and even then the markets within Australia are so small still not many people recognise me as I was never a poorly paid TV "star" (about US$360 a week as a full time actor last time I worked).
Now in Thailand I am becoming a success here too, but again the pay is poor but I earn enough to live.
I plan on taking the DVD showreels from the next two movies I shoot, one of which I am also the Script Writer for, I plan on taking these new scenes to America. I plan on going to Hollywood and seeing as many agents as I can possibly see, get as many interviews as I can, and stay until I make the contacts I need or I get a job. After that I will be a regular.
Ultimately I want the major part in an action movie - I will do a B movie if the part is right, in fact I have no qualms in this regard.
I am looking for my perfect part to launch my International (read US movie) career. I know I can do it, I have the experience, I have the skills, I can play the parts I am looking for.I can do it.
But...
I need some help. This month I will have 20,000 visitors to this site. What I am asking is if you think my quest is worthwhile I am asking that you donate $1.
That is all I am asking.... $1.
If 10% of the visitors to this site are so generous... then by the time we finish shooting the next movies then I will have enough to fly to the U.S.A. and make this dream come true - 20 years in the making here comes the next "self made" (with your help) overnight success.
If I do not recieve any favours from my readers, well I will make it myself. The next 2 movies after that are larger budget and I will be able to go next year.
My old Sunday School teacher used to say "put your faith in the generosity of strangers", now I put that old saying to the test.
