Mystic Blade is a new movie written by Don Ferguson and is being Directed and Produced by husband and wife team, and good friends, David and Ying Ismalone. So I spent the other night in the Jungle in Central Thailand filming with a bunch of friends and stuntmen, and also with Thailands tallest man....

Filming of Mystic Blade will continue over the next few weeks then go into post production with an expected rapid turn around time so the movie could be out fairly soon, for film standards that is, maybe a year from now Internationally. Again like in Bangkok Adrenaline,Mystic Blade seeks to put the best stuntmen in Thailand into the movie, things have moved along since we filmed B.A. though and the talent pool is increasing here with some International stars appearing in Mystic Blade. So again I just get a phone call to appear in a movie with NO casting or audition required. Good. I like this sort of work, it shows professionalism on the part of the Producers. You can always tell an Amateur production by getting three call backs when it is obvious there is no competition for the role - AND they are not willing to pay for your time on the call backs - that points to stingy, you don't want to work with people like that, there will be problems when it comes time to be paid. Anyway back to the Mystic Blade movie.... At this point I cannot say too much about Mystic Blade except that it is to be filmed in a comic book style, in fact the first words out of my mouth on watching some already filmed footage was "It looks like The Punisher" to which the reply was that is the sort of style we are after, a dark hero, which Don plays very well, surprising as he is such a mild mannered and all round nice guy.
